TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONFERENCE TICKET SALE
INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets for the conference ("the Event") organized by The Peculiar Collective 2024 ("the Organizer"). By purchasing a ticket for the Event, you ("the Attendee") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
TICKETS
2.1 Kindly note that all ticket sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
2.2 The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Event, in which case a full refund will be issued to all Attendees.
2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any Attendee who fails to comply with the Event's rules and regulations or behaves in an inappropriate or disruptive manner.
EVENT DETAILS
3.1 The Organizer reserves the right to change the date, time, venue, and/or agenda of the Event at any time without prior notice to Attendees.
3.2 The Organizer will not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense incurred by Attendees as a result of any changes to the Event.
3.3 The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Event's speakers, topics, and schedule at any time without prior notice to Attendees.
LIABILITY
4.1 Attendees assume all risks and liabilities associated with attending the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss.
4.2 The Organizer will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, or business opportunities, arising from or in connection with the Event.
4.3 Attendees are advised to obtain their travel insurance to cover any loss, damage, or expense incurred as a result of attending the Event.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 The Organizer retains all rights, title, and interest in all intellectual property related to the Event, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, and copyrights.
5.2 Attendees agree not to use any of the Organizer's intellectual property without prior written consent.
PRIVACY
6.1 Attendees' personal information will be collected, stored, and processed in accordance with the Organizer's Privacy Policy.
6.2 The Organizer may share Attendees' personal information with third-party service providers for the purposes of organizing the Event.
6.3 Attendees may opt-out of receiving marketing communications from the Organizer at any time by contacting the Organizer or clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in the communication.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Annapolis, MD.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Attendee and the Organizer and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the Event.
By purchasing a ticket for the Event, the Attendee agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
